The Company
Using the simple lines of early American furniture, we design and build elegant masterpieces for the 21st Century. The charm of our furniture comes from the masterful blend of vintage wood and modern finishing processes. We produce a rustic yet refined look, unique to old barn wood, deriving its character from 100-200 years of natural wear. Furniture created from this historical resource preserves a piece of yesteryear and is destined to become an heirloom of tomorrow.

The Owner
Paul Kostyrka is a native Californian and avid woodworker who was first introduced to Rustic Americana-style furnishings in Southeastern Pennsylvania. While living in a landscape dotted with old barns and colonial farmsteads, he seized the opportunity to combine his talent for woodworking with materials tempered by the past.
In 2002, Home and Garden Television (HGTV) hired Paul to work on a new series called, “Designer Finals”. As the carpenter on set, Paul built custom furniture for student designers. He quickly became a mentor to the students helping them bridge the gap between theory and reality resulting in both an opportunity to educate the students and to increase the satisfaction of a broad range of homeowners across the San Francisco Bay Area.
Currently residing in El Dorado Hills, California, Paul continues to build creatively-inspired woodworking projects for his clients by infusing his California roots into the historic charm of the East Coast.
