Paul Kostyrka is a native Californian\u00a0and avid woodworker who\u00a0was first introduced to Rustic Americana-style furnishings in Southeastern Pennsylvania. While living in a landscape dotted with old barns and colonial farmsteads, he\u00a0seized the opportunity to combine his talent for woodworking with materials tempered by the past.<\/p>\n
In 2002,\u00a0Home and Garden Television (HGTV) hired Paul to work on a new series called, “Designer Finals”. As the carpenter on set, Paul built custom furniture for student designers. He quickly became a mentor to the students helping them bridge the gap between theory and reality resulting in both an opportunity to educate the students and to increase the satisfaction of a broad range of homeowners across the San Francisco Bay Area.<\/p>\n
Currently residing in El Dorado Hills, California, Paul continues to build creatively-inspired woodworking projects for his clients by infusing his California roots into the historic charm of the East Coast.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
